We've come a LONG way-----
While reading through the Web 2.0 and Library 2.0 articles, I especially enjoyed reading "Advocacy: a ripple effect". It reminded me of the "old" days of our library when the Websters dictionary and the World Book were the most important reference materials in the library. When you had to look it up in a book. Way back, before computers, Google, YouTube, uploading, downloading, etc. Times have changed and so have our libraries. Today, there are an endless supply of new technologies and our libraries are working hard to keep up with the new trends. Keeping our patrons "up-to-date" with computer classes and providing new technical services is all a part of our everyday jobs. Oh, Webster is still there, a little dusty - but still there as a reminder of where we came from.
